
it's early in the day, so I may post another, but so far I doodled around in illustrator, mostly to no avail. Got one good character out of it so far, albeit no fills yet. stupid gradients. refer to email if you haven't already.
in your guy below, the outside outlines are all really thick, and inside not so much. Is that because you drew it that way and so live trace picked up on it? Or did you go in and change the stroke for those lines? And if so, remind me how to select just those lines..
You seem to do that with most of your characters, and I really like it. And although I don't think we should necessarily try to exactly match each others styles, I think there should be some similar conventions we use to make our work cohesive and relate to each other. And I think that little element might make my work pull together with yours, while still retaining my style.
Every blog post looks better with an image. So I Google imaged "cute" and this is the image I chose. This is a band named, "Cute Is What We Aim For." Kill me now.
